ALTEROAK CARACTERE, is a natural oak extract. Its specificity is that is solvent free, chemicals free, no addition, 100% natural, 100% Soluble. You will find only molecules that are natural in oak barrels. Due to our process (wood selection for their potential, maturation of wood, toasting, etc…) we are maximizing aromatic compound concentration (5HMF, 5MF, vanilline, Gaïacol, whiskylactones, eugenol, etc…) and selecting the softest tannins for best performance.
CARACTERE is used as an instantaneous & natural alternative to traditional ageing ( upto 5 years of 100 ppm and can be modified by dosage). You can create your signature product with the choice of our extract: Smoky, vanilla oak, coffee oak notes and wine notes. Standard Dose is of use is 100 ppm. We can guide you on how you can increase aging with this product by oxidizing the liquor.
